Sabotage!
What is it and how can you find out more. Join Auspicium and My-CPE on April 3, 2024 and learn what sabotage is, what makes you vulnerable, and what to do if you are being sabotage. The course starts with a look back at some past sabotage events and why this triggered the enactment of the Espionage Act of 1917. It looks at cases where sabotage is happening today; especially due to the current state of affairs in the Middle East and Russia.
Sabotage happens and unless you know what to look for or which projects or operations to avoid, you may be the next victim. But who would do it. It can be:
- An employee, especially one who is disgruntled or feeling underappreciated
- Vendors, especially when they may be experiencing contract issues or slow payments
- Protestors
- Activists
- Nation states
- Competitors
- Yourself – yes, sometimes we are our own worst enemy!
But can they really do damage to an organization? We will look at what what has been done, what can be done, and how it can be done. Issues may include:
- Destruction of pipelines or distributing of shipping channels
- Product Tampering
- Stealing Trade secrets with an emphasis on corporate espionage
- Arson
- Sabotage computer systems
- Social Engineering

Howdy! I could have sworn I’ve visited this site before but after browsing through some of the posts I realized it’s new to me. Anyhow, I’m definitely happy I stumbled upon it and I’ll be bookmarking it and checking back often!
May I simply say what a relief to uncover somebody who actually understands what they’re talking about on the net. You certainly realize how to bring an issue to light and make it important. More people should check this out and understand this side of the story. It’s surprising you aren’t more popular given that you certainly have the gift.
This design is incredible! You definitely know how to keep a reader amused. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Great job. I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!
